We had a fantastic weekend stay at Log Home Village. The cabin was incredibly cosy and well-equipped, with a comfortable bed and the ability to make the bedrooms pitch black for a great night's sleep. The log burner added a lovely touch, and we enjoyed the company of the friendly chickens on our deck. The cabin had a beautifully cosy vibe, especially in the evening. We were greeted with a bottle of red wine and fresh flowers, and the cleanliness of the cabin was exceptional. We also loved reading the notes left by previous guests. Despite some minor downsides, our stay at Log Home Village left us feeling incredibly relaxed.
We highly recommend this hotel.

The location of this log cabin was idyllic, surrounded by beautiful scenery and waking up to the sight of sheep in the nearby fields was a delight. The cabin itself was comfortable and had everything we needed for a relaxing break. It was easy to find and within easy driving distance of popular attractions like Windermere. having a corner shop close by was a great convenience.
While our stay was overall enjoyable, there were a few minor drawbacks. The kitchen was lacking in cutlery and could have used an oven glove.

The bed was incredibly comfortable and we had the best night's sleep. The location was perfect, with a peaceful and quiet setting. We loved the proximity to the local supermarket, making it easy to stock up on supplies. the owner was friendly and welcoming, making us feel right at home.
The bathroom wall was in need of a repaint, which was a bit disappointing. We also found that there was a lack of serving dishes and a limited selection of oven trays in the kitchen.

Our recent stay at Log Home Village was absolutely wonderful! We stayed for a few days and enjoyed every second of it. The location is perfect, tucked away from busy roads and safe for children. Tim, the host, knows the area well and provided us with great walking routes. The lodge itself is beautiful and extremely comfortable, with everything we needed. We loved the quietness, the comfortable bed, and the bottle of wine as a nice gesture. It was a fantastic experience spending time with the friendly animals on the farm, including their daughter, the horse, cow, pony. We'll definitely cherish these memories. The log fire and homey log cabin added to the cozy atmosphere. The lodge was well-equipped, spotlessly clean, and had a great view of the monument. Thank you, Tim and Anastasia, for making our stay so enjoyable!
